In an effort to give the wildflowers and wildlife a fighting chance in 2021, a litter pick-up event is scheduled for New Year’s Day along CR 344 from FM 775 to Wolf Lane in La Vernia. Volunteers will meet at the entrance to Woodcreek at 9:30 am and work to about 11am.  The Wilson County Beautification Association and Keep La Vernia Beautiful will provide safety vests, masks, grabbers, gloves, and trash bags.  Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
